Acceptance of Terms
Using the Service, including browsing the site or submitting a loan request, means you accept these Terms; if you do not agree with them, you should stop using the Service.
Additional terms may apply to particular features, such as the request form or messages you agree to receive. Those terms are part of these Terms when they apply.
Eligibility to Use the Service
Use of the Service is limited to individuals who are at least 18 years old, or 19 in Alabama and Nebraska, who reside in the United States and who can form a binding contract.
You may use the Service only for yourself and not on behalf of another person, unless you have legal authority to act for them. Meeting these requirements does not mean a lender will approve you, since each lender applies its own criteria.
Our Role: Not a Lender
Our Service is a free loan-request platform that shares your request with third-party lenders and lending partners; we are not a lender, do not make credit decisions and do not guarantee that you will receive any offer.
We do not fund, service or collect loans, and we do not act as your agent, broker or financial advisor. Lenders set all rates, fees and terms, and your loan agreement with a lender governs any loan you accept. We may receive compensation from lenders, as explained in our advertiser and lending disclosure. We are not Avant, LLC or WebBank and are not affiliated with or endorsed by either company.
Your Obligations
Every user agrees to provide true, accurate and complete information, to use the Service only for lawful personal purposes, and to avoid any activity that could harm the Service or other users.
- Do not submit false, misleading or another person's information.
- Do not use automated tools to access, scrape or submit data through the Service.
- Do not attempt to interfere with the site's security or operation.
- Update or correct your information by contacting us if it changes before a lender acts on it.
Submitting false information to obtain credit may violate federal and state law.
Consent to Be Contacted
Submitting a request authorizes us and the lenders and lending partners who receive it to contact you by email, phone and text message at the details you provide, including through automated technology, about your request.
Message and data rates may apply. Consent to marketing calls or texts is not a condition of receiving an offer. You can opt out of our marketing at any time by replying STOP to a text, using an unsubscribe link, or emailing us. Opting out with us does not stop messages from lenders you have already been matched with; contact them directly.
You also authorize lenders that receive your request to verify your information and obtain consumer reports about you, which may include a soft or hard credit inquiry depending on the lender.
Third-Party Sites and Offers
Offers you receive, and any website you visit after leaving ours, are provided by third parties whose own terms and privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for their content, products or practices.
Any decision to accept a loan is yours alone. Read every lender agreement in full before signing it, and direct questions about an existing loan to the lender.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Service, including text, graphics, logos, page designs and calculators, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.
You may view and print pages for your personal, noncommercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.
Disclaimers
The Service and all content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement.
Our articles, examples and calculators provide general education, not financial, legal or tax advice. Payment figures are estimates, and actual terms depend on the lender. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from a lender's decision, offer or loan.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed one hundred dollars. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnity
Each user agrees to defend, indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from that user's misuse of the Service, inaccurate information or violation of these Terms.
Governing Law
Georgia law governs these Terms and any dispute related to the Service, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any action must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia.
Changes to These Terms
Updates to these Terms are posted on this page with a revised effective date, and your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
We may also modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.
